How to obtain the Tanker Endorsement (N Endorsement)

Tanker Endorsement Requirements

Study Materials

A new regulation by the FMCSA requires drivers hauling large amounts of gaseous or liquid freight in specific container sizes to obtain a tanker endorsement. This includes driving vehicles where individual containers have a capacity of over 119 gallons, are loaded, and the combined volume of all containers is greater than 1,000 gallons.
