Karl Malone also known as Mailman for his ability to deliver points, renowned as one of the greatest power forwards in NBA history, took a surprising turn after his basketball career by venturing into truck driving. A passion he had harbored for a long time. Malone owns a Timberland Property in Louisiana and personally makes deliveries, showcasing his love for trucking.
His interest in trucking started in 2014 when he purchased a Freightliner Cascadia semi-truck equipped with a Detroit Diesel engine. Mr. Mailman owns a dealership by the same name in Heber City, Utah. Offering SUVs, pickups and some serious work trucks, which shows how much he loves big rigs.
Prior Trucking Attempt
Malone had a lumber trucking company Malone Properties back in the 1990s. It was shut down in 1994, 18 months after it was launched.
According to his attorney at the time, Randall Call, “I think what he found is that it’s tough running a trucking company in absentia.”
